Steve Martak, Director Client Services
Steve Martak is the Director of Client Services at NextGen. With more than 23 years of industry experience, Steve brings expertise and is well practiced in sales, recruiting and account management. As the new Director of Client Services, Steve leads NextGen’s premiere sales team and is responsible for new client engagement and business development. As part of NextGen’s leadership team, he brings energy and experience to help foster a positive and productive environment for staff members and sales teams. In keeping with NextGen’s plans to expand locally, regionally and nationally, his focus is customer relationship management, strategic lead generation and new business development.
Steve joined NextGen in 2013 and is dedicated to client satisfaction and exceeding client expectations, “I am very excited about the future of NextGen and I look forward to providing our clients, those long standing and new partners , with exceptional talent and excellence in account service, account management and delivery, “ Steve said. While providing customized workforce solutions is a part of everyday life at NextGen, one of Steve’s goals is to make the ordinary into something extraordinary. According to Steve, “There is never a dull moment in this business and I wake up excited about the work we do each day,” he said. Whether working with emerging tech organizations, small and medium businesses or Fortune 500 companies, Steve’s goal is to find out everything a client needs and demands for their long term business success.
Steve has worked in the recruiting and staffing industry since 1989. This experience coupled with a keen understanding of the marketplace, Steve brings purpose and professionalism to every business venture. He is also a member of FOCUS St. Louis and USA Hockey and when not in the office enjoys a great round of golf with friends and coaching hockey.
A native of St. Louis, Steve and his wife enjoy family life and reside in St. Charles, Missouri.
