With the 2017 year behind us and New Year’s Resolutions set (and hopefully still in-tact), we’re now looking towards the rest of 2018. Here are some of the trends being predicted for the 2018 year:
- College graduates will have an easier time than before to land their first official, professional job after college; or even have a job before they graduate college.
- Instead of looking outside of your company to find a job, possibly think about applying the skill-sets you’ve learned in that position, and through that company, and apply for a position currently available in your current company. Gain new skill-sets, expand on the skill-sets you have, and stick with the people, and the company, you’ve enjoyed previously.
- Instead of finding a job you think you’ve be good for while surfing on your lunch break, then having to anxiously wait until you’re home to start applying, applying for jobs by way of your smartphone is going to change in the future.
- The need for healthcare workers and people interested in working in technology, are going to see an influx of job openings and have more than enough job applications to look into.
What are some predictions leaving 2017 that you believe came true throughout the year, or predictions you feel like are still going to come into fruition in this new year?
